decides to run away from home "to the world's end". A distant
relative Sonya joins the teen-ager. Meetings with different
people, travels, work at a building help the young heroes to learn
life and to understand that they love each other.

A musical satirical comedy made after M. Zoschenko’s writings

In the first novella the wife of a shop manager Gorbushkin, who
was sent for by an investigator, having fallen into fright, sold all
belonings for nothing to be confiscated, devorced him and
registered with their neighbour. When the shop manager returned
home (he was sent for as a witness), he had heither his belonings,
nor his wife.
The second novella is devoted to married couples treasons and all
kinds of misunderstandings, which occures between a husband
and a wife in these circumstances.
The third novella is about a luckless bridegroom, who cann't
recognize his future wife during his wedding.
